Maria Higgins is the creator of Venice Florida Living.com. She has lived and worked in the Venice area since 2013 and loves it! Maria is a licensed real estate agent with RE/MAX Platinum Realty, working in the Venice Island office. She is a multi-year award winning RE/MAX Gold Club member and multi-year Five Star Professional Real Estate agent award winner. She has completed the Venice Citizens University program, which is designed to educate the public on how the City of Venice operates.

 

A personal note form Maria:

I grew up in New York City, then lived in southern California for several years and settled in western New York for 20 years. My husband, Sean, and I have raised three children and now have six wonderful grandchildren. Once our last child graduated from college and moved to California, my husband and I decided to move to the warm weather of Florida and enjoy a year round active lifestyle. After a long and successful search of the  Florida west coast communities, we decided to settle in the Venice area.

 

We are so happy we made the move! Since then, my passion has been working as a realtor and helping other families find their own slice of paradise. I also love to promote the wonderful advantages of Venice Florida Living.
